Marty Connelly
Chief Financial Officer
Marty Connelly brings over two decades of financial leadership to AEC Group, with a career spanning Big Four consulting at Deloitte, entrepreneurship, and technology services. He joined AEC Group in 2002 following the acquisition of his firm, Structure Solutions, LP.
As Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Connelly oversees all financial operations, reporting, and strategic planning for the company. His combination of Big Four discipline and entrepreneurial experience gives him a distinct ability to manage both the strategic and operational dimensions of a growing business.
Mr. Connelly holds a Bachelor of Arts from Washington & Jefferson College and an MBA from Duquesne University.
James Mizia
Chief Operating Officer
James Mizia is a co-founder of the business that became AEC Group’s Technology Solutions Division, with nearly three decades of operational leadership at the company. In 2019, he led the acquisition of AEC Group’s Technology Solutions Division, returning the business to its entrepreneurial roots with a sharper focus on scalable managed services and enterprise IT delivery.
As Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Mizia oversees the full operational infrastructure of the business — spanning systems integration, project delivery, support services, and managed services — ensuring consistent execution across AEC Group’s regional and national customer base.
A Pennsylvania-registered Engineer in Training (PA EIT) and member of American Mensa, Mr. Mizia holds advanced technical certifications from Microsoft, VMware, EMC, Citrix, and Cisco. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from The Pennsylvania State University.
Brian Lesniakowski
Chief Information Officer
Brian Lesniakowski is a co-founder of the business that became AEC Group’s Technology Solutions Division and has served as the company’s foremost technical authority since 1998. With nearly three decades of hands-on engineering and vendor partnership leadership, he ensures AEC Group remains at the forefront of a rapidly evolving technology landscape.
As Chief Information Officer, he drives the company’s technology strategy, vendor relationships, and technical standards across all service lines. He is a member of the Citrix Partner Technical Expert Council and holds certifications from Cisco, Citrix, Dell, EMC, Microsoft, Nutanix, Riverbed, Rubrik, and VMware.
Mr. Lesniakowski holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The Pennsylvania State University.
Ken Rindt
Chief Revenue Officer
Ken Rindt is a seasoned technology executive and entrepreneur whose career includes roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Coopers & Lybrand, followed by the co-founding of two technology firms — the latter, Structure Solutions, acquired by AEC Group in 2002.
As Chief Revenue Officer, Mr. Rindt leads all go-to-market activity, strategic partnerships, and revenue growth initiatives. His deep vendor relationships — including a current position on the Cisco Channel Advisory Board and past positions on the Cisco SMB Partner Advisory Board and EMC Partner Advisory Board give AEC Group a competitive advantage in both partner access and market positioning.
Prior to his business career, Mr. Rindt honorably served as a non-commissioned officer in the United States Army. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Science and Information Systems from the Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University.

Jamie Pellegrini
Vice President – Operations
Jamie Pellegrini has been with AEC Group since 2006, building and leading the operational teams that deliver on the company’s commitments to clients. He began his career as an engineer at Lucent Technologies before progressing into senior operational leadership at AEC Group.
As one of two Vice Presidents of Operations, Mr. Pellegrini has direct oversight of project deployment, support services, and managed services operations. A certified Avaya Expert Level Engineer with deep proficiency in Microsoft platforms, he is both a technical authority and a hands-on operational leader — ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery at scale.
Mr. Pellegrini holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering (Electronics) from California University of Pennsylvania.
Rob Schwendeman
Vice President – Operations
Rob Schwendeman joined AEC Group in 2010 as a Network Engineer and has advanced into senior operational leadership through a consistent record of delivering complex, large-scale technology projects for enterprise clients.
As one of two Vice Presidents of Operations, Mr. Schwendeman oversees the day-to-day technical operations and managed services team, while serving as the primary technical escalation point across the organization. Notable engagements include leading a Cisco VOIP and network infrastructure rollout spanning 300+ locations across the U.S. and Canada for a Fortune 500 customer, as well as large-scale Azure migrations and network security implementations for enterprise and leading mid-market clients.
Mr. Schwendeman holds certifications as a Cisco CCNP (Collaboration and Enterprise), HPE Aruba ACSP, Accredited SD-WAN Professional, Microsoft Teams Administrator Associate, and Meraki CMNA.
He holds an Associate Degree in Computer Science from the Community College of Allegheny County.
Sean Troy
Vice President
Sean Troy brings over 25 years of experience at the intersection of enterprise technology and business strategy, with particular depth in healthcare IT. His career spans both the provider and customer sides of the industry, including over two decades working within and around large-scale healthcare environments at UPMC.
As Vice President, Mr. Troy leads strategic customer engagements and solution architecture across infrastructure, unified communications, and application platforms. Known for his consultative approach, he aligns technology investments with organizational objectives and remains involved from initial strategy through implementation.
Mr. Troy holds multiple industry certifications from leading technology providers and earned a CTE Diploma in Computer Science from Forbes Road Career & Technology Center.
Brad Zonghetti
Vice President, Sales
Bradford Zonghetti is a revenue leader with over 30 years of experience building high-performing sales organizations in the technology sector. He joined AEC Group in 2006 and was instrumental in launching and scaling the company’s Voice and Data Solutions division.
As Vice President of Sales, Mr. Zonghetti leads AEC Group’s Sales, Sales Engineering, and Sales Administration teams, driving consistent year-over-year revenue growth across a complex portfolio of technology solutions. His approach — straightforward, outcome-oriented, and built on lasting client relationships — has been central to AEC Group’s commercial success.
Mr. Zonghetti holds a Bachelor’s degree from Duquesne University.
